Gallery, London. The location of the National Gallery in London was
supposed to be a crossover point between the rich people of West London
and the poor of the East. The collection originally comprised of just 38
paintings which had been purchased from John Julius Angerstein in 1924. Today
it houses Western European paintings from 1250 to 1900. In the background
of this picture is St Martins Church.
